Hi, I'm a TEFL English teacher with 12 years experience in teaching English as a foreign language. I have my own office near the centre of Livingston that I use as a classroom, with internet, whiteboard, tea and coffee, photocopier and lots of resources. First of all we have a free one-hour meeting in a cafe to get to know each other a little and so I can check your level and find out your goals. Then I put together a course designed to help you meet those goals. I focus on your weak points and help you work on them to make them stronger, kind of like an 'English coach'. It could be grammar, pronunciation, listening, vocabulary - whatever it is, I can help you speak with confidence. I've taught in Japan, Spain and Greece, and have experience with Polish students and analysing the differences between English and Polish, for example I know that in Polish you don't have the 'th' sound or the articles 'a' or 'the', which is actually the same as in Japanese. Right now I charge £10 per hour for individual students or by Skype, £15 per hour for two students together (roughly the same level would help) or £7.50 each for groups.
